Hallmark's path to modernizing its distribution operations

Hallmark shared at CSCMP EDGE how it modernized its 1972-era Liberty, Missouri distribution operation: after a three-year effort adding voice picking, analytics, labor management tools and automation, productivity rose 15%-20% and costs fell 30%. 3PL Arvato opens its seventh logistics facility in Louisville

Supply chain and e-commerce 3PL Arvato has opened its seventh logistics facility in Louisville, Kentucky, adding roughly 400,000 square feet and taking its total local footprint beyond four million square feet. The wholly-owned site is expected to create about 150 jobs and sits near Louisville International Airport for fast distribution to major U.S. consumer markets. Arvato says the expansion answers brands' need to scale without adding supply chain complexity.
