Holland & Barrett to invest €17.5m in Irish fulfilment operations

UK health and wellness retailer Holland & Barrett will invest €17.5m in digital and retail fulfilment in Ireland over three years, including €8.2m for a new digital fulfilment model and €9.3m for retail fulfilment with Kildare-based Road Truck Services. From November 1, fulfilment of Irish online orders moves from the UK to Ireland, with around €1.5m of additional local stock, about 328,000 orders a year flowing through the network, and next-day delivery planned from December 1.
